Caroline has been singing for over 23 years, in choirs from the age of 8, contemporary bands, and is hoping to venture out as a classical soloist in the near future. Aged 13 she won a music scholarship to study voice and clarinet at Ardingly College, and won competitions in the Mid-Sussex Music Festival. Early on in her career as a musician, Caroline was part of two music groups who went to Austria and Southern Germany on tour.

 

Caroline lives and teaches on Mersea Island, in Essex and is also employed by Essex Music Services which allows her to work within primary and secondary schools, as well as colleges around Essex.  

 

Caroline completed a course in 2008 with the ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) and gained a certificate of teaching. 

 

As well as her private students, and schools work Caroline also recently worked with a group who performed at the Albert Hall in September 2010 

 

Caroline has just recorded her first album with jazz influenced/blues/ballads group The Moondance Band come hear her sing at the Coast Inn, West Mersea on 2nd and 4th Sundays - www.themoondanceband.co.uk
